Isaac stood outside the small town of Forks, Washington. He was alone at the moment, scouting the lay of the land while Krysta remained at a spot they had found to stay in temporarily. Everything was temporary about their life. They were constantly on the move, never staying in a town too long. They only stayed long enough for a few meals, a few unsuspecting people who were lured away by Krysta's song. They were always usually people that no one would miss, the homeless or criminals. The only thing that was permanent in all of this was each other.
He watched things from behind the trees for a bit before turning back toward the camp. While he was still close, where there was a risk of being seen, he walked and act human. Only his pale skin and nearly black eyes would give him away, and that was only if someone who passed him by bothered to look too closely. When he was far enough away from civilization, he took off at a run. He was now just a blur, darting between trees, speeding through the forest. He only slowed down when he got close to where they were staying. It was far enough out of town that no one should have run into them, but he always liked to expect the unexpected.

Edward had been out for a run of his own when he caught the scent of another vampire. This one was unfamiliar to him, he was all too concerned that perhaps some member of the Volturi or something had come to his home. He would not let anything risk Renesmee and Bella, he went to find out what it was. Then he heard the faint sound of his kind and approached with caution, he knew that this was going to be an interesting meeting.
"Hello, what brings you to Forks?" Edward asked cautiously, his instincts were telling him to drive out the wanderer. He ignored those and decided to find out what he was doing here in Forks.

The voice was unexpected, to say the least. Isaac at first thought he'd just been discovered by a random human, one who was either very lucky or very unlucky depending on if he just left or if he started asking questions. Isaac would talk to him, act normal. That was what he'd planned to do anyways.
"I'm just passing through," he said, as he started to turn around. That was when he saw the man. The pale, too perfect features told Isaac what this guy was, but his eyes... "Your eyes are gold. Why is that?" The question was voiced before Isaac had really had much chance to think it over. His own eyes would have been red, but it had been a long time since Isaac and Krysta had fed. There was only the smallest hint of crimson in the black irises. Why gold? Was there something different about this vampire? If so, Isaac wanted to know what it was.
((OOC: That was fine. ^_^))

Edward watched him also paying attention to his thoughts he wanted to be sure that he wasn't here to harm his family. When he realized that he was passing through and then he became curious about his eyes Edward smiled a bit. He thought his words over carefully wishing that Carlisle or Jasper were here to help him explain.
"You hunt people right?" Edward asked calmly, he knew the answer already so he pressed on with his line of thought. "I hunt animals not people. That's why my eyes are golden, I and my family all hunt animals." He told him, "If your interested in learning more I'm sure that Carlisle could answer any questions you have." Edward told him, wondering if perhaps he would be interested in that life.

Has the answer been that easy the whole time? Isaac thought. He and Krysta hated living they way they did, but they'd thought they had no other options. They chose to feed on the scum of society, simply hoping to cause less chaos that way. They fed as infrequently as they possibly could. Was there another choice though? Why was he even asking that? Clearly there was another option if this vampire, and other it seemed, fed on animals. Why had they never thought of that as a possibility?
"I..." Isaac paused. "My mate and I both hate living the life we currently do. She was turned accidentally, and probably never would have turned me if she hadn't needed to in order to save my life." He didn't mention how he'd tried to kill himself. Krysta had known Isaac was special to her, and she hadn't wanted to lose him to something like that. It had been her only option. Edward would learn all of that, though, because he could hear Isaac's thoughts.
"She is nearby. If you would allow me a moment to bring her here, then we can follow you." The answer, though not stated explicitly in any of Isaac's words, was a yes. It was clear in his thoughts. Both he and Krysta wanted to stop feeling like they were complete monsters. This was the first opportunity they'd ever had.

Edward couldn't help smiling at his thoughts, the man was interesting. The fact that he didn't know about this way of life, he had never thought of living off the scum before. Now he would never be tempted back to the way of life that he had once tried.
He listened both to his thoughts and his words, "It is a hard life especially for those of us that have a conscience. Though I have a living being at my home, we have to make sure that you and your mate are no longer thirsty before I take you anywhere near her." His tone careful and guarded he didn't need this man meeting his daughter without being able to control himself. "I do not know if her blood will call to you or not but I'd rather err on the side of caution." He knew that he obviously was taking a chance here.
"Please go and get her." He told him, "I would more than happily take you home to meet the others. Perhaps you can try hunting animals on the way there. That way your not thirsty." Edward told him as he looked at Isaac, waiting to see what he would do as he waited for his mate.
